About Membership

A steady place for doulas who value mentorship, community, and a practice that can last.

You might sense a call toward this work.

Not only to support others,
but to do so with presence, integrity, and care.

You might already be practicing or just starting to explore this path.

You might feel the weight and responsibility of this work, and a wish not to carry it alone.

This is where the Collective finds its purpose.

What the Blue Water Doula Collective is

Blue Water Doula Collective is not a directory or a referral list.

It is a structured and mentored community of doulas working across the continuum of care.

Within the Collective, doulas are supported through:

  • Ongoing mentorship

  • Shared learning and case consultation

  • Clear ethical guidance and scope

  • Collaboration in place of isolation

Here, individual calling is supported by shared stewardship.

What makes this different

Mentored Practice

  • You are not left to practice alone. Ongoing support and formation are part of the structure.

Continuum of Care

  • Birth, end-of-life, and grief support are connected, not separate paths.

Collaborative Model

  • You are part of a collective, not working alone.

Sustainable Structure

  • Clear expectations, shared responsibility, and leadership pathways support long-term practice.

This may be for you if…

You are:

  • An emerging doula seeking mentorship and structure

  • A practicing doula looking for collaboration and support

  • Exploring end-of-life work alongside birth work

  • Desiring a more sustainable and supported way to practice

  • Looking for alignment, not just opportunity
