Stories at the Threshold: A Death Doula’s Guide to a Meaningful End Online Webinar
Featuring Author Jane K. Callahan | The Emberlight Author Series
Tuesday, July 28
12:00–1:00 PM EDT
Online Webinar
We invite emerging, new, and practicing end-of-life doulas to join this special online author presentation featuring Jane K. Callahan, author of Stories at the Threshold: A Death Doula’s Guide to a Meaningful End.
Through stories drawn from the threshold between living and dying, Jane offers insight into the meaningful and deeply human work of accompanying individuals and families at the end of life. Her work provides an opportunity to explore the doula role through presence, listening, connection, reflection, and honoring what matters most as life draws to a close.
For those who are just beginning their journey as an end-of-life doula—or wondering what this work truly looks and feels like—this presentation offers a wonderful opportunity to learn from the experiences and wisdom of someone who has walked alongside people at the threshold.
The Emberlight Author Series creates space to learn from authors whose work helps deepen our understanding of dying, caregiving, grief, meaning, and compassionate end-of-life support.
✨ Emerging and new doulas are especially encouraged to attend.
Come listen, learn, reflect, and discover how the stories we encounter at the end of life can help shape the doulas we become.
