NEDA Proficiency Assessment Scholarship

Did you know that the National End-of-Life Doula Alliance (NEDA) offers a monthly scholarship to help doulas cover the cost of the End-of-Life Doula Proficiency Assessment?

For many doulas, obtaining NEDA proficiency is an important step toward demonstrating commitment to professional standards and continuing to grow their practice. If the assessment fee is a financial barrier, we encourage you to explore this scholarship opportunity.

Scholarship recipients receive funding for the proficiency assessment and, in return, are invited to support the NEDA community through volunteer service and engagement.

If you are actively working toward your NEDA proficiency badge, don't assume you won't qualify—apply. Opportunities often begin with simply taking the first step.

Applications are typically due by the 1st of each month, with decisions announced shortly thereafter.

At BWDC, we encourage our members to continue investing in their professional development and pursuing opportunities that strengthen both their skills and confidence as end-of-life doulas. We are cheering you on every step of the way!
